 Amanda Brown
- Tell us about you?
- Well, I am a recent Ole Miss graduate, yes, Ole Miss, Hotty Toddy!!! I graduated with a Bachelor of Business for Marketing and Management. I am self confident, creative and organized. I have zero tolerance for ignorance, bad drivers and classlessness. I feel like I am a pretty well rounded girl; I’ve gone, done, seen and experienced a lot, but can have the most fun just watching a movie. I love crafting, travel, sci-fi, shopping, cooking, museums, art and hanging out with friends. And I feel like there is still a lot more to learn about myself.
- What is your approach to life?
- To get through life I think you need several approaches. Most important, everything happens for a reason. It never ceases to amaze me how some of the smallest things can make such a big impact. Second, always have hope; hope for the future, hope for others and hope for yourself. Third, always stay classy and never be trashy. Fourth, have an open mind. And last, use some common sense!
- Where have you worked?
- While in school I worked in a hunting store for 2 years; don’t be quick to judge, it was a great way to meet guys and gather some unique knowledge along the way. I sold knives on the side for a little bit to make extra income. Not going to lie, that was kind of awkward, but it taught me a lot. After graduation I interned for one of the largest advertising agencies in the south, Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods. Not long after my internship I was presented with a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the What If family and I took it!
 - Why Fort Smith?
- Good question. I grew up in Memphis and then spent 5 glorious years in Oxford, Mississippi. Although Oxford is small and very different from Memphis, it is by far the best small town in America. My internship for CJRW was in Little Rock, where I lived for a short time. I have always felt destined for a big city, but the most important person in my life ended up in Fort Smith. So I came here to be with my mom, and it has been an adjustment, to say the least. But, I am thankful for the friends and opportunities I have found along the way. I don’t plan to stay in Fort Smith forever; once we get big enough I plan on heading the What If International office in London! (Ahh, one can dream, can’t they?)
- If you could meet one celebrity tomorrow, who would it be?
- If I could time travel I would want to meet Audrey Hepburn because she embodied classic beauty, class and charm. She is timeless.
But considering I have not mastered the art of time travel, I would want to meet Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony DiNozzo on NCIS. I want to meet Michael, because he is my TV boyfriend. What is a TV boyfriend you may ask? Simple, it’s that special guy on any TV series that you wished oh-so-much was real and would come sweep you off your feet.
Also, I would want to meet Rob Dyrdek, who doesn’t have to act for me to love it. He is adorable with a weird and dorky personality and a talented athlete, sigh. I believe we could really hit it off if he ever met me!
- Last question- What is your favorite song?
- Difficult, as I listen to an array of music and don’t have just one favorite, so I will break it down for ya…
My favorite band? Maroon 5
MY Favorite Fun song? The Thong Song (That thong, tha-thong, tha-thong, thong, thong)
My Favorite Line dance? Close tie between Cotton Eye Joe and Electric Slide
A Favorite Love song? When You Say Nothing At All
A Favorite Country song? Fishin’ in the Dark
